Argentina has booked their place in the Copa America final after defeating Colombia 3-2 in a penalty shootout on Tuesday. The match ended 1-1 in regulation time, with Lautaro Martinez scoring for Argentina in the seventh minute and Luis Díaz equalizing for Colombia in the 61st minute.
In the shootout, Emiliano Martinez saved three penalties for Argentina, while Lionel Messi, Leandro Paredes, and Lautaro Martinez all converted their spot-kicks. Colombia's Duvan Zapata and Yerry Mina both missed their penalties, sending Argentina through to the final.
Argentina will now face Brazil in the Copa America final on Saturday, July 10, at the Maracana Stadium in Rio de Janeiro. This will be a rematch of the 2019 Copa America final, which Brazil won 2-0.
