Brescia finished top of the Serie B standings with 65 points, while Frosinone Calcio and Ternana Calcio secured the second and third automatic promotion spots, respectively.
Brescia's promotion to Serie A marks their return to the top flight of Italian football after an absence of two seasons. The club finished the season with 19 wins, 8 draws, and 11 losses, scoring 54 goals and conceding 33.
Frosinone Calcio also made a swift return to Serie A after being relegated in the 2021-22 season. The club finished the season with 18 wins, 12 draws, and 8 losses, scoring 57 goals and conceding 38.
Ternana Calcio secured their first promotion to Serie A in their history. The club finished the season with 17 wins, 13 draws, and 8 losses, scoring 56 goals and conceding 39.
The three promoted clubs will replace Cagliari, Genoa, and Venezia, who were relegated to Serie B this season.
The 2023-24 Serie A season is set to begin in August 2023.
